How to Make Relaxing Bedtime Bath Salts for Better Sleep

Create your own relaxing bedtime bath salts to prepare your mind and body for a restful night’s sleep. This simple recipe combines the soothing benefits of pink Himalayan salt, warming vanilla infused in jojoba oil, and a blend of calming essential oils. Start by weighing out six ounces of pink Himalayan salt (fine or small grain) and three ounces of warming vanilla oil. Add this to a bowl, then mix in 10 drops of Lavendula Angustifolia (common lavender) for its balancing and relaxing properties. To enhance the blend, add eight drops each of Vetiver, an earthy and grounding oil reminiscent of a forest campfire, and Rock Rose, a Woody and sweet oil from Spain known for its anxiety-reducing benefits.

Once the ingredients are combined, give the mixture a stir, transfer it to your favorite container, and use two tablespoons per bath. This recipe makes enough for three to four soothing baths that smell divine and promote relaxation after a long day.
